Ministry of Education Local Scholarship Announcement

The Ministry of Education announces the opening of applications for the Government of Liberia Local Scholarship Program for the 2025/2026 academic year, beginning August 20, 2025.

Application Process:
Application Start Date: August 20, 2025

Offices of the County Education Officers (CEOs) in all 15 counties

Where to Submit Completed Forms:
Ministry of Education, Division of Scholarships
Offices of the County Education Officers (CEOs) in the 15 counties

Scholarship Requirements:
Scholarships are awarded based on merit.
Applicants must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above to remain eligible.
Current scholarship recipients with a GPA of 3.0 or higher will continue to benefit from the program.

Inclusivity:
The Government of Liberia remains committed to providing equal educational opportunities to students from all communities across the 15 counties.
Females and students with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Deadline:
Final date for submission of applications is September 10, 2025.
