Emergi Liberia is an e-mobility company. Emergi’s mission is to create social impact and we have recently launched our first fleet of electric kekehs. Using a ride hailing app with mobile money options and working exclusively with women drivers we aim to reduce carbon emissions in Monrovia. We work hard at supporting Liberia in its ambitions towards a sustainable future.
To grow our impact, we are seeking a motivated and versatile Program Support Intern to join our team in Monrovia. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of program management and operational support. You will work closely with our Emergi Liberia team on a variety of tasks in support of our mission to expand our e-mobility services in Liberia.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of program management and operational support. You will work closely with our Emergi Liberia team on a variety of tasks in support of our mission to expand our e-mobility services in Liberia.
Key responsibilities:
- Support with Financial Systems: Assist in maintaining and organizing financial records and transactions.
- Support with Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL): Support data collection, analysis, and reporting to evaluate the program.
- Support Survey Analysis: Support the collection, analysis, and interpretation of survey data.
- Support in Human Resource Management (HRM): Assist with HR tasks such as driver recruitment, support the driver empowerment programs and other staff related initiatives.
- Support Customer Service: Handle inquiries and support customer service.
- Support Marketing and Outreach: Assist in developing marketing materials and outreach strategies to promote the project.
- Support in Grants and Projects: Provide administrative support in managing grants, project timelines, and deliverables.
- Design of Social Media: Collaborate on the design and creation of engaging social media content to enhance program visibility.
- Strong motivation and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Communications or any other related field.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
- Interest in sustainable development and community engagement.
- A monthly intern salary of $75 for 24 hours a week
