The Government of the Netherlands has announced new funding opportunities that may be of great interest to organisations working to:
  • Advance women’s rights
  • End violence against women and girls (VAWG)
  • Support women human rights defenders (WHRDs)
  • Promote women’s leadership in peace and security
Funding Programme 1: FemFocus – Combating VAWG & Supporting WHRDs

Focus: Holistic responses to VAWG and strengthening support systems for Women Human Rights Defenders

Regions: West Africa, Horn of Africa, and the Middle East & North Africa (MENA)

Duration: 5 years

Deadline: 7 January 2026
