Hope 4 Liberia is seeking dedicated, born-again Christian teachers with a heart for ministry and a passion for Christ-centered education. This is not a traditional school; it uses a personalized, interactive, and practical learning model designed to meet each child at their individual level.

Location & Logistics
  • Location: Hope 4 Liberia Orphanage Campus – Mumie Pepper Village, Careysburg, Montserrado County.
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday.
  • Housing: Available for teachers who work consecutive days (on-campus residents assist with staff house upkeep and child supervision outside school hours).
Key Responsibilities
  • Personalized Instruction: Deliver lessons tailored to each student’s individual ability rather than standard grade levels.
  • Interactive Learning: Use technology (iPads, TVs, and visual tools) to create hands-on, student-centered lessons.
  • Biblical Integration: Incorporate prayer and biblical principles into daily academic instruction.
  • Ministry Support: Assist with orphanage activities, special projects, and child care beyond the classroom.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside both Liberian staff and American missionaries in a team-oriented environment.
Requirements
  • Faith: Must be a born-again Christian with a clear testimony of faith.
  • Education: Minimum of an Associate Degree in Education or equivalent teacher training.
  • Philosophy: Must agree to a no-spanking policy, modeling loving, biblical discipline instead.
  • Mindset: A humble, teachable attitude and a willingness to learn a non-traditional, competency-based teaching model.
