- The Operations Manager: Controls physical vehicle and fleet deployment.
- The Accountant: Independently audits both tiers and locks down corporate funds.
The main goal of the Dispatcher is to handle all customer bookings smoothly, manage driver trips, and record every single ride with absolute precision. Core daily duties include:
- Comprehensive Trip Logging: Record the exact vehicle number, driver name, customer name & contact, customer calling time, destination (pick-up & drop-off locations), trip type, and payment channel (Cash, Mobile Money, or App) at the immediate start of every trip.
- Booking & Call Management: Answer incoming customer calls rapidly, process booking requests with a professional demeanor, and assign trips to available drivers immediately.
- Live GPS Tracking: Actively monitor fleet assets using GPS tracking software to ensure drivers take the most efficient routes and stay on schedule.
- End-of-Shift Reporting: Total up, sign, and hand over an accurate, comprehensive trip log to the Accountant at the close of every shift so expected revenues are perfectly tracked.
- Real-Time Driver Support: Act as the primary radio/phone link to provide drivers with traffic updates, route changes, or polite solutions to client modifications.
Education & Background
- Academic Criteria: Must hold a University Degree or valid Certificate in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Logistics, or Public Relations.
- Professional Longevity: At least two (2) years of real experience handling active data entry desks, high-volume customer phone call centers, or fleet operations.
- Geographic Literacy: Complete and excellent structural understanding of the streets, neighborhoods, shortcut networks, and main roads across Monrovia and surrounding zones.
- Communication & Articulation: Must speak English very clearly with an excellent customer service voice. Ability to write logs and client correspondence with zero mistakes.
- Tech Fluency & Speed: High typing speed on computers, comfort utilizing mobile applications, and rapid navigation of Microsoft Excel tracking sheets.
- Stress Resilience: An exceptional ability to multi-task smoothly on the phones, solve driver routing dilemmas under pressure, and maintain total emotional composure.
