Reliable Opportunities Hub Expert-Level Application Tip for International Volunteers:
Because this program requires a minimum A2/B1 German language level and a two-week local internship, standard generic resumes will be instantly rejected. To stand out to the coordinators in Germany, your application package must prove real preparation. Write your cover letter and your email introduction entirely in German, even if it is basic. This immediately proves you have already achieved an A2/B1 level and are actively trying to communicate. Ensure your local two-week internship certificate is clearly translated into English or German, signed by your supervisor (such as an NGO director or principal), and explicitly outlines your duties handling kids, community work, or agricultural projects. Showing the selection committee that you already have local volunteer experience and have taken the time to translate your papers will immediately signal that you are a highly disciplined candidate, pushing your profile straight to the top of the international shortlist!
