  • Project Coordination: Schedule and monitor work orders for installation teams, ensuring recommended security construction is completed seamlessly and on schedule.
  • Inventory Governance: Oversee the issuance, tracking, and control of all physical security hardware deployed across Chief of Mission (COM) residences, executing decommissioning procedures when properties are returned to landlords.
  • Budget Support: Assist in organizing, tracking, and managing the annual residential security upgrades budget, obtaining necessary funding certifications prior to project lifecycles.
  • Personnel Briefing: Lead mandatory residential security in-briefs for newly arriving diplomatic personnel, instructing them on the proper operation of emergency alarms, radio networks, safe havens, and emergency egress routing.

Reliable Opportunity Hub Expert-Level Application Tip for Embassy Applicants:
The U.S. Mission HR department enforces a zero-tolerance policy for copy-pasting. The official guidelines explicitly warn: Do not cut, copy, and paste your current job duties. The automated screening software quickly filters out repetitive, plagiarized, or bullet-point descriptions pulled directly from standard internet templates. When completing your ERA profile under Major Duties and Responsibilities, describe your daily administrative and writing experiences entirely in your own words. Provide explicit, real-world examples of reports you have compiled, budgets you have monitored, or vendor relationships you have managed. Because shortlisting is based solely on the text typed into the ERA platform fields (and attached external CV documents are not factored into your baseline score), writing out detailed, authentic descriptions of your skills directly within the application form is the only way to clear the system and secure an in-person interview.
