Key Role Scope & Expectations
The Professional Chef will be responsible for upholding high culinary and operational standards in a 24/7 kitchen:
  • Culinary Preparation: Prepare high-quality, consistent Liberian and international dishes for restaurant guests, airport staff, and catering clients.
  • Shift Operations: Work flexible shift schedules within a continuous 24/7 operational environment.
  • Food Safety & Hygiene: Enforce strict hygiene standards, sanitary food preparation, and kitchen cleanliness protocols.
  • Kitchen Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with line cooks, kitchen assistants, and management staff under fast-paced pressures.
Candidate Qualifications & Benchmarks
To qualify for consideration, candidates must meet the following baseline requirements:
  • Kitchen Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of proven hands-on experience in a professional restaurant, hotel, or commercial catering kitchen.
  • Culinary Scope: Strong command of both Liberian traditional dishes and international menu items.
  • Operational Flexibility: Ability to work varied shift patterns in a 24-hour airport operation.
